RSA North West Annual Forum & RSA Exhibition

Thursday 4 November 2010

6pm to 7:30pm

As a Fellow have you been able to engage or contribute to the aims of the RSA?

Are you unsure about how to participate and want to bring more to your region?

This event will provide an opportunity to discuss the vision for the region and opportunities for engagement and involvement between Regional Representatives, RSA Staff and Fellows.

The Annual Forum will be held in the Portico Library & Gallery, Mosley Street, Manchester on 4 November 2010.  This will be an open and free event for RSA Fellows to reflect, debate and consider past activities, future plans and long-term vision for the North West region.  Hosts include Chair, Marj Boyer, Council Member, David Dickinson and Matthew Taylor, Chief Executive RSA.  Recent activities include Networks in Manchester, Cumbria and Liverpool, projects outlined include Portico Study, Cumbria Forest Foods, Media Bus and Life Friendly Impact.

This event specifically welcomes feedback from Fellows in the region on the year’s activity, meet members of the North West panel and allow opportunities for Fellows to talk through their project ideas, explore participation and engagement with the RSA and Fellowship across the region.  This event will also close the RSA Exhibition at the Portico Library & Gallery which runs from 7th October to 4th November.

The RSA Exhibition highlights historical links between the RSA, Manchester and Portico Library. This exhibition tells the story of the RSA Premiums Award Scheme in its early years and outlines its relevance today and a series of events and talks will be available for Fellows to participate.
